BLACKFORD-William F., Jr. of Kings Park, NY on February 2, 2006. A retired detective, NYPD; WWII and Korean War Veteran; Member of 1st Marine Division Association. Devoted husband of Carolyn. Loving father of William (Francine) and Suzanne (Mike) Romano. Beloved grandfather of Brian, Melissa, Michael, Courtney and Joseph William. Reposing at Clayton Funeral Home, Inc. 25 Meadow Rd. (Cor. of Indian Head Rd.) Kings Park until Monday when a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 9:30AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Kings Park. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 and 7-9PM.

How I wish I could of gotten the chance to have met you, but that day never came. You are in a better place now where you are free of pain and suffering.



To my mom(kathy),Uncle Bill and his family and Uncle Charlie I am sorry for your loss and you will always be in my prayers. I love all of you with all of my heart!

To every season there is a purpose. Faith will guide you, in your belief that your Dad has gone to a better place. Family and friends can be there when you need them. Let them help you when they can.
