I used to live in the area and didn't know Dr. Benninghoff personally, but just reading the short story of his life here he was a WWII veteran, a doctor who worked to help people with cancer, a father, a grandfather, an uncle and most importantly a person who contributed to making the world a better place through better health. My condolences to his family. Dr. Benninghoff had a long life well lived and with great contribution to other people. I'm sure his legacy will live on and his family can take great pride in knowing all that he did during his lifetime. God bless.
