Loving father of Susan (Michael) Cucci, Christopher (Mary) and Carolyn (Andrew) Stephenson. Dearest grandfather of Kathryn Savage, Jenna Schwartz, Carly Hablenko, Joanna Norman, Kevin, Kathleen Englehardt, Michael, Mollie Belizaire, Andrew, Elizabeth, Kayla, Charles and Elizabeth Stephenson. Fond great-grandfather of thirteen. Donald received his Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Columbia University and his Master of Business Administration from New York University. He was the Managing Partner of Jaros, Baum and Bolles Consulting Engineers. He specialized in the design of mechanical systems for more than 200 tall buildings on five continents, including the Sears Tower in Chicago and the Bank of China in Hong Kong. He was a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the past President of ASHRAE, and a recipient of the 2015 Egleston Medal presented by the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Visiting Thursday 9:00am-11:30am. Funeral Mass 12 noon, at St. Edward Confessor RC Church, 205 Jackson Ave., Syosset, NY. Followed by interment at Holy Rood Cemetery.
