Eugene McGill Obituary

McGILL - Eugene Peter, On November 12 Formerly of West Hempstead now Myrtle Beach, SC. He was 82. He was a WWII Veteran, Retired West Hempstead Mailman, Owned McGill & Sons Landscaping, Previous owner of The Rail Bar in West Hempstead and worked for Garden City School District as a bus driver. Beloved husband of Angela. Loving Father of Kenneth McGill, Kathleen McGill-Lillywhite, Daughter-in-law Chong McGill, one step-son, Richard Losee and his wife, Marilyn, two step- daughters, Sharon Linder and Donna Smith. Gene will be missed by his nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and his one sister Joan Unger. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:30PM Friday at St. James Catholic Church Prayer services will be held on Saturday the 17th 6-8PM at Goldfinch in Conway, SC. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The American Cancer Society or The Alzheimer's Foundation in the name of Eugene Peter McGill.
