Although we lost touch in recent years, Fran and I go back to Fountain Hill together where we grew up and went to school. He was always a brilliant and hard-working student . We were classmates at St. Ursula’s and Bethlehem Catholic, where he never missed making the honor roll. We always remained good friends even after I nosed him out by a single vote for high school class president. He was a member of our wedding party and was always the gallant for the ladies (see photo). I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Dolores and his children and grand-children. He was a great role model, a symbol of probity and rectitude, and always, always a tough act to follow. God bless you, old pal.

As a former highschool classmate of Francis I remember him as being an exceptional student. My memories of him are all pleasant.
My condolences to his family.
May he and all the faithful departed rest in peace, amen.

I met Fran in grade scchool and I"ve been his friend all of his life. I remember so many good things about the things we did in our youth. Like the time Fran and I hitch-hiked to Philadelphia to see his favorite baseball team " the Athletics". Before going to the ballpark we stopped at a hospital in Philadelphia to see Father Sangmeister who was our high school principal. He was a good loyal friend. I will miss him. Jim Glancy

As we go through life we touch everyone we met in a different way. Sometimes more than we know. I will always have wonderful and fond memories of Uncle Fran. Especially my vacations in NY with Uncle Fran, Aunt Dolores and the family. Those experiences made such a difference in my life and who I am today.
I will miss you Uncle.
