Herbert Staer Obituary
Staer, Herb was born in Albany, NY, and grew up in Stottville and later Matawan, NJ. Herb spent nearly four decades in retail, primarily with Pergament and later North Babylon Hardware. In retirement, he volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital and Thrift Shop. He is survived by his wife, Barbara
(Kaufmann); her children and grandchildren. Herb will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and generous heart. His family sends prayers of Inner Peace to the surviving Staer children. Private Service.

Prayers and condolences, I actually googled his name because I´m writing a book and he played a pivotal role in my life. He was the kindest person I ever met. I learned so much from him I want to thank his family for sharing him with us. Pergament Garden City Park 1988-1996
