DICKINSON - James H., of Centereach, NY. It is with a broken heart and enormous difficulty that we announce the passing of our sweet, kindhearted, and compassionate father and brother from a brave battle with ALS. He is survived by his precious children, Jamie (Danine), Craig (Jennifer), and Cathy (Ken); his adored grandchildren, Michelle, Abby, Alec, Adrianna, Hailey, and Brooke; and his loving sister, Joyce (Lou). Jim served in the Vietnam War and was a longtime employee of Grumman. Visitation will occur from 5-9 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023, at O.B. Davis Funeral Home, 1001 Rt. 25A, Miller Place, NY. A Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30 am on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C.C. in Rocky Point, NY. Interment to immediately follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
