I always enjoyed playing golf with Jason. I considered myself lucky when I was in a foursome with him. Great man, sorely missed.

If you ever knew "Bugbee" you will never forget him. We were the lucky ones to know him and to have him as a friend - to our son and our family. We are grateful.

Many people live their whole lives and don't have a true friend who accepts you as you are. I am grateful that my son had that kind of friend in Jason. It is a gift. Jason is unforgettable for many reasons. This is just one of them.

Jason was not Jason..... he was Bugbee. It's what everybody called him. I doubt if I knew his first name when I first met him. It was not necessary. He was and still is the one and only Bugbee. He was strong and reliable. He was unselfish and always willing to leave it all on the field for his team. If he ever got hurt, it didn't change what he did next. He got up and kept going. Of course, we can't say that for the opponent who lined up across from him. Bugbee continues to be a favorite of David's friends for Fred and me. He provided us with big wins and great times. We are blessed to have had him in our lives. He lives on, you know. ..... Love always, Fred and Donna

November 13, 2011

I love the memories of Bugbee and football and David and T More. I am getting the old football video out and watching it again. It is just one of so many great memories that we have because our boys gave us that. Not everyone can say that. Never forgetting those incredibly good times has a way of helping us to heal. You remain in my prayers.

My sincerest condolences to all of Jason's family and loved ones. Since my family moved to Norwich it's hard to think of a childhood memory Jason wasn't a part of. I ran into him not that long ago while out with my daughter and we had a very pleasant conversation that left me thinking about what a nice young man he grew up to be. My daughter thought he was a really friendly giant. I know he'll be greatly missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Jason and Diana. Jason was a good friend, and the fun we have had together over the years will be permanently implanted in my mind. "Bugbee" was definitely one of gods own prototypes, one of a kind and with a broken mold. His spirit and excitment for life will live on in all who knew him and in the stories that will be told including him for years to come. Jason and Diana should be proud that the person their love created could touch and bring joy to so many.

My heart breaks for Diana, Jason and Amanda. You will be in our prayers. My son, David, called Jason, "Bugbee", and so we did too. The memories of Bugbee and David playing STM football will last forever. I cherish those memories. Bugbee always called it like it was, no BS. He broke it down to the nuts and bolts and always made us laugh. I know Bugbee and David have already got a football game going on in Heaven. You can count on that.
