Dubin - Joan M. D'Andrea, age 75, passed away peacefully on September 04, 2025. Born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn, Joan lived a life full of love, laughter, and connectionâ€"grounded in her roots and lifted by her generous heart. She was the beloved wife of Michael Dubin, her partner for 55 wonderful years. Together, they built a life shaped by devotion, family, and unwavering support. Joan was a loving mother, a loyal friend, and the kind of woman who made everyone feel welcome.

Joan loved being with people. She lit up every room she entered and was always the last to leave the partyâ€"laughing, talking, and making sure everyone felt included. Her spirit was magnetic, her presence comforting, and her laughter unforgettable. She was also a truly great cook. From traditional Italian dishes to holiday feasts, Joan's kitchen was a place of comfort and celebration. Her meals brought people together, and her recipesâ€"just like her storiesâ€"will be passed down for generations. Joan is survived by her husband Michael and her cherished son Jason, Sister Elaine Vitale and nephew James Vitale. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Jesse, whose memory she carried tenderly in her heart every day. To all who knew her, Joan was more than a wife, mother, and friendâ€"she was a legend. Her strength, joy, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
