MEEHAN- Joan H., at the age of 81 years old on August 30t after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Floral Park, she was the loving daughter of Eleanor Pratchett Claire and James Hawthorne. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Loving mother of Jack (Fran), Donna Mottola (Ronald), Laurie Radziewicz, Bobbi Wagemaker (Jacques), Linda Halleran (Scott), Michael (Cris), Peter (Donna). Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Beth, Pamela, Ronald, Alison, Megan, Richard; Andrew, Jacques, Ian, Laura, Elizabeth, Scott, Emily, Briana, Aidan, Gianna and Talia and great-grandmother of Molly Zachary. Dear sister of Ted and Bob Claire of California. Joan was an Emergency Room volunteer at Winthrop University Hospital for many years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
