Time has still not healed the loss. I think of you everyday and pray you have finally found happiness. Whenever a Monarch butterfly passes me I know it's you comforting me.

This is Jean Marcley from Evensong Futon Shop. I remember Joseph quite fondly along with his friends Tom and Frank. I am sad to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathies to all. I loved his smile and his easy manner.

It's been over 3 years now and while people say time heals all there is still a part of me that will never be whole again. But, a very important and special time in our lives has opened up for us and we have Joe to thank, in part, for it. We have a whole family that has come together and will once again share laughter and love in the home that meant so much to Joe & my nephew. I can't express the joy of having Maryann, Ben, Nanny, Michelle, Tori and Eric in our lives. How can it be that people you have only recently met can make such a profound difference. With all that was lost it is so hard to believe in how much we have gained. My nrphew is one of the most special people in my life and I love him with all my heart. I believe our blessings today come from those who love us from above. Thank you for who you were and what you are now.

Saturday was the anniversary of my brother Joe's passing. I have lost both parents but did not know how deeply losing my last link to my childhood would feel. I miss picking up the phone to ask if he remembered the name of someone we once knew or the details of a funny incident in our lives. Most of all I miss him needing me at difficult times in his life. My children are grown and while they know I'm there if they need me, they are both very self-sufficient. Joe, on the other hand, still needed the reassurance that someone was there to help take care of him. I believe he knows I still worry about him and love him. We are so lucky to have his music. Listening to him allows a closeness and lets him be a part of all our lives.

Joe,
When we visited on Saturday, I'm sure you knew, but just in case, I want you to know Darius shared his cup of Starbucks with you. We wouldn't let you miss out on that. By the way, the owner's of Starbucks have complained their profits have dropped tremendously since you're gone. Little Joe, Darius and I sat, listened to your music and knew that even if we were sad, you had finally find peace. You know how difficult that day would have been for Frank and I believe there was a reason his dad passed away when he did so he was unable to be with us.
We all love and miss you. Cassie still won't go to Goodberry's icecream because Uncle Joe liked to go there. She finally goes to Starbucks for her hot chocolate because I convinced her you're sharing it with her.
You are always a part of our lives.
Love you,
Connie

He is gone a few weeks now and I still hope to see him entering the faculty room with his coffee and smile. He loved to make people laugh. He always brightened a room. I miss a very special friend and man. May his memory be eternal.

We at North Fork Bank in Stony Brook were so sad to hear the news about Joe. His smile and charm were so contagious! He will truly be missed, even by acquaintances, who called him our friend.

Joe was my brother. Because of illness I spent the last 2 1/2 months with Joe and our family. How very fortunate we were that God allowed us this special time together. We laughed, we cried, but most importantly we remembered the times of our childhood. He was the only person in the world who shared my memories and a part of my heart has been taken away. Our entire family was lucky enough to have spent the last Christmas together for the first time ever. We were truly blessed.

I thank God that he touched so many of his students. That is a legacy never forgotten.

My nephew, Joe Jr. and my sons Sal and Chris share a special bond that can never be broken, that bond was Joe. His love will always be his gift to them.

I am so proud to call him my brother.

I just found out that Mr.Agosta has just passed. I had him in the 7th grade and 8th grade in middle school for math and history. He was my and alot of other people's favorite teacher ever he was very funny and yet tried to act serious. I still have the picture of him he gave me and I glad I didn't loss it. he was way too young to go and I have never forget all the jokes we said in that class and the class trip to boston. For all the students He had in long beach middle school we will miss him deeply.

Joe is always in my heart, and his voice will sing in my dreams. His love and devotion live on as long as we remember him. And that will be a long, long time.

I remeber Mr.Agosta as a teacher and a good caring friend that helped me in school. He taught me to do the right thing in life. I am in my last year of high school and I will always remember what he told me to do in school and out of school. I will miss him so much but he will always be remembered in our hearts. I will remember him by his big smile and his laughter. That always helped everybody- even though you didn't want to laugh he always made you laugh. "WE WILL MISS HIM SO MUCH. I WILL "LOVE YOU ALWAYS" From Estrella Anicama, former student

I have such fond memories of Joe from when we were children. My parents, Uncle Chester and Aunt Loretta, would bring me down to Long Island for weekends. We always had such great times together. My most cherished memory is a visit Joe and his Mom made to Connecticut, after not seeing each other for many, many years. Dear sweet Joe will be sadly missed by many.

Joe touched the lives of so many people in very special ways. He was an exceptional teacher, a loving father and son, and a great friend. I will remember enjoying his laughter, his singing and his caring ways. Joe will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Joe had a way of making me laugh even when I didn't want too. He walked into a room with tremendous presence. I am so very lucky he was such a special part of my life. I will miss him more than he could ever know.

I will always love him!
