Joseph KLECAN Obituary

KLECAN - Joseph W., of Bay Shore, NY on June 17, 2014, at the age of 94. Predeceased bythe love of his life of 70 years, Mary. Beloved father of Barry (Patricia), Ronald (Daisy), John (Eileen), Joseph (Margie), and Pete (Kristen). Cherishedgrandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 9, whom added another cherished dimension to his life. Joseph was a proud pilot in the Army Air Corps. He worked as a tool/machinist Supervisorat Fairchild Hiller/RepublicAviation for 41 years. He inspired his family with his passion for gardening and love of the Great South Bay. The years spentclamming and boating together are treasured memories.Cremation was private. Agraveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Overton Funeral Home, Inc., Islip.

Our sincerest condolences to the family of Joseph. We're sure that he touched many lives in his 94 years. He certainly touched our lives indirectly by raising Pete who along with Kristen, have always been such caring and good friends to us. God Bless Joseph and the entire family
