Joyce Martin Obituary
(Pietsch) Meyer. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School and SUNY Cortland. After starting a family with her beloved husband, Joseph, Joyce called Garden City, New York, home for over 35 years. She will be remembered by those who loved her as a prolific baker, avid gardener botanical garden volunteer, enthusiastic church choir member, caring mother, and adoring grandmother. Joyce is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Eleanor. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 47 years, Joseph
Robert Martin, and her son, Joseph (Helen) Peter
Martin. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Emily and Claire Martin. Joyce is also survived by siblings
Joanna Meyer, Peter Meyer, and Janice Meyer, and her nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11am on August 19th at Christ Episcopal Church located at 33 Jefferson Street, Garden City, New York 11530.
