Judy Sullivan

Sullivan - Judy, a long-time Suffolk County resident, died on Tuesday, November 4. Born in the Bronx, she attended St. Jean Baptiste High School and St. Clare's Hospital School of Nursing. She moved with her family to Connecticut, where she stayed for almost ten years before moving to Long Island. She lived in East Northport for more than 40 years, and then moved to Greenlawn in 2011. She was a long-time waitress in Cooky's Steak Pub at what is now the Shops of Walt Whitman, as well as Cooky's in Hicksville. She joins her husband, Richard; her parents, Frank and Mary Evans; her brother, Frank; and her son, Joseph. She is survived by her sister, Maria Sanders; her children, Richard (and Elaine), Frank (and Judy), Mary Ryan, Stephen (and Ann); as well as

her sister-in-law, Betty

Sullivan; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She has left a void in her family, and will be missed. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 4pm-8pm, at the Brueggemann Funeral Home, 522 Larkfield Road, Northport. Funeral Mass Thursday, 10am, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in East Northport. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to Long Island Cares.
