Dear Richie, Dan and I are so very sad for you. We know you will miss Karen so much. She was such an incredible person.
Karen showed us how to live and she showed us how to die with strength, love and dignity. We were humbled by her courage, her fortitude and her tremendous heart. She was brave beyond belief. It was my honor and my privilege to know her and to be her big sister. And while all of our hearts break for the loss we feel, that special place in our hearts that we shared with Karen makes us so much richer for having known her.
Karen, your long, hard fight is over and you can rest now and be at peace. We will miss you so much. We love you so much. We love you to the moon and back.

We love you so much Richie,
Lorraine & Dan
