DeLALIO-Leonard, age 83, of Farmingdale, L.I., on September 26, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Catherine T. DeLalio. Beloved father of Janice McClellan, Della Harbourt, Susan Carlson, Leonard M. DeLalio, and Catherine Ernst. Proud and cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Ian, Christopher, Genevieve, Theodore, Alyssa, Juliet, Brianna, Suzette, Leon, Jessica, Amanda, Joseph, and William. Dear uncle and friend to all who knew him. Mr. DeLalio was born and raised in Farmingdale. Over 60-year parishioner of St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church. Founder of DeLalio Sod Farms. Lifelong farmer and businessman and a supporter of all agricultural industries. Member of L.I. Farm Bureau. Director for 9 years of Southern New England Production Credit & Federal Land Bank. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1 mile north of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Bethpage, L.I., Wednesday, 9:45 AM. Cremation to follow. Visiting Monday, 7-9:30 PM, and Tuesday, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 PM.
