to my dearest friend Maureen,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am and how my heart aches for you and Vinny. I know how much you both love Mickey. I can't even tell you I understand your pain because I don't, I can only imagine the ache and I wish there was something I could do but I know there isn't. I came close to losing Michael and the pain was unbearable. I don't know how you cope. I do know that Mickey is in heaven and is so okay. I wish you and Vinny could just have a glimpse of how happy he now is and then maybe it would ease a little of the pain. The only thing I can say for sure is that one sweet day we'll all be together with the ones we've loved, who have passed. Know that Mickey is with family who love him and their there waiting to see us someday. until then anything I can do for you and Vinny please let me know. I love you guys.
Love Lisa

Dear Maureen, Vinnie and family,

My heart goes out to all of you over this tragic loss. Mickey was a gentle, sensitive soul who often displayed a sense of wisdom that was beyond his years. He was one of the most incredible people I've ever met in my life. I feel an incredible sense of loss with his untimely passing. After going to Mickey's wake and funeral and meeting so many of Mickey's friends, I now know that there were so many others in Mickey's life who felt the same way about him that I did. To those of us whose lives were touched by Mickey, we know how much of a difference he made.

I offer an old Irish prayer for Mickey:
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine softly upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you
in the palm of his hand.

Love, Uncle Tom (Holmes)

Mickey,
You were a great kid. Everyone saw it in you. I was looking forward to seeing you, but not like this. Save a spot for us up there. You still looked gorgeous as ever.
Family and friends, stay strong<3
he would only want to see you happy

I wanted to express my sincere condolences to your entire family.
I had the priveledge of meeting Mickey a number of times, and really, really enjoyed him as a young man. Very kind, very polite, and he enjoyed a good laugh. Infact, he had a great suttle laugh, and a great smile. Back a couple years ago, I had the great experience of going fishig with Mickey, his loving niece Marissa, and her mom Carrie...Mickeys sister. He found enjoyment in a not so spectacular fishing trip. He enjoyed the scenery, the slow fishing, and the company of some family. Just glad to be there I guess. However, I enjoyed the chance to have fun with a really good guy. His sister really loved him, as well as all his family and friends. And I will, as everyone, miss him. With heartfelt sympathy, and my prayers to Mickey and his family. God Bless Mickey T. Quigley and family.

Mickey reserves the place in my heart as the most amazing, interesting, genuine, unique and honest person I've yet to meet. He left his mark on my life and I will never forget him. I miss his "mickey-isms" like his smile, laugh, the way he says "hang out", his smell, and the way he always made me feel so safe. I remember climbing up trees, going on adventures, sitting in the grass, going to the beach, looking at the stars, listening to music, seeing him at every spare moment.. I could go on and on with stories and memories but the bottom line is I am so glad to have had such an amazing person in my life and as much as I will miss him, I will always have such great memories to look back on.. And thanks to Mickey, I've met a few more great people, including his family who I will always keep in my life.
