Muriel M. Guibord

1935 - 2018

GUIBORD - Muriel M., of Brentwood, 82 years old, died on May 5, 2018. She was born in White Plains on May 8, 1935 to the late Muriel Hiltz and Aniello Manganiello. She was a 1953 graduate of White Plains High School, in 1954 received a Child Care Technician certificate from the New York Foundling Hospital and in 1956 graduated from St. Joseph Hospital's School of Practical Nursing, Yonkers. In 1984 she went on to obtain an Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Science from Suffolk County Community College. Beloved wife of Richard for 56+ years. Devoted and loving mother of David, Diana, Roberta and Lorraine. Muriel was a member of St. Luke's Church since 1963. Volunteering with the Peanut Butter & Jelly Gang. She is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America, The Smithtown Stitchers Guild, Brentwood Seniors. Reposing at Michael J. Grant Funeral Home, 571 Suffolk Avenue, Brentwood, Tuesday May 8, 2-4pm and 7-9:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday May 9 at 10am at St. Luke's Church, 266 Wicks Road, Brentwood, NY. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, contributions, may be made to a charity of your choosing in her name.
