Nezzera Ablan Obituary
Amelia Ablan; brothers,
Michael (Rosemary) and Fred
(Bernadette); and niece, Debra (Matt) Mueller. She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Thelma) Ablan and many beloved nieces and nephews. Nezzera worked for many years as an executive secretary at Cord Contracting Company and later dedicated herself to her church. She loved travel, cooking, and the theater, and was known for her warmth, wit, and grace. Her beautiful spirit and the joy she brought to others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5pm-7pm at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791. Interment will be on Friday, at Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury, NY.
