Dear Janice and Andy,
My parents and I were very sad to learn of your loss. I remember your mother with great affection. She was always very dynamic and full of spirit. She was a big part of my life in that she encouraged me to apply for AFS (American Field Service), which was a wonderful experience for me, and to this day I am still in touch with my "French sister". My heart goes out to you and your family.

Andy, Phyllis, Nikki, Jay, Janice and Rick:
With your mother/grandmother's passing, the world has lost one of its greatest ambassadors — her door was open and the world came through it and everyone felt at home — and we have lost a cherished mentor and friend. My mother and I always said that when we grew up, we wanted to be just like her. All of our lives will be emptier without her presence, cards, and calls, but the thought of her will always bring a smile to our faces — because her love of life was contagious. How grateful we are that on occasion she let us be a part of her family.

How very sad I was to hear the news of Norma's passing. I will hold the many many special memories in my heart always..especially the Richie Havens concert we went to together! Her kindness, generosity and sincere interest in every person she met was nothing short of amazing. Her dinner table was indicative of the way she welcomed everyone into her big heart. Never was there a woman quite like my Aunt Norma....the world is not the same without her.
My husband, my two sons, we all loved her dearly.
I look forward to seeing you all soon. susan
