Dear Mom,
Tomorrow will be 2 years since God called you home. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting at your bedside holding your hand and stoking your hair as you took your last breath. They say time heals but I am not finding that to be true. I am slowly learning to live life without you keeping all the wonderful and loving memories of you tucked away in my heart. I feel you beside me wherever I go, you are the wind beneath my wings. I believe you and Dad have reunited in Heaven and are watching over us.

Dearest Mom,

Oh my dear Pat! It's time for a " charla" as we used to say way back in Spanish class in high school! We now have to communicate from earth to heaven. Not for a moment did I forget it was your birthday. Couldn't respond sooner as all my children were flying out to see their Dad in Wisconsin as he is not doing well - and that kept me very busy. I think of my visits to see you in NY - to lunch at the diner, a movie at the mall, dinner at a Chinese restaurant near your home etc. I so regret that you were not able to come to my home so I could show you around my town! - But I know you are here with me in spirit!! I can't believe a year has gone by since you went to heaven. It seems like yesterday and sometimes seems like forever since I was able to laugh with you and talk with you. There are so many times a thought will come and I think - let me ask Patty, she will know the answer. I hope you can hear my thoughts and prayers. Nothing can fill the hole in my heart since you went to heaven. I know you are no longer in pain and are at peace. That is what keeps me going. I miss you so much, my soul mate sister.

It's hard to say Happy New Year when we are missing our loved one so much. Can hardly believe it will be a year tomorrow since we lost this very special lady. I'd like to think that she is looking down at us and smiling at our interactions & our "postings" in this guest book. I miss her terribly and will pray for her as I always do. All we can do is be the best we can be in her loving memory! Peace and love to all the family.

It is so hard to believe that my dear friend Pat has been gone for almost a year now. She was my dearest friend as we were growing up and we remained close friends for over 60 years, though miles and family obligations separated us. I feel her spirit has remained with me. We shared happy, joyous times and sad, difficult times. I know she is so loved by her 5 daughters, 2 sisters, and all the family. I think about her almost daily - and pray for her constantly. By remaining close to her family, I feel connected to her - so - even though this quest book is ending, I hope we will continue to stay in touch. May God bless everyone and may our loving connection to Patricia keep us close in the years ahead.

I was very saddened to hear of Pat Bodolato's passing. She was a wonderful Godmother to me, always interested in my life, always remembering me on my birthday and at Christmas. She found the time to come with her husband to my wedding 11 years ago. I know that she and my Mom have had many happy times together. Their friendship certainly withstood the test of time and I am so fortunate to have known her and to have had her in my life. She will be missed. I extend my deepest sympathy to all the family.
