Our Dear Pat, I just searched for you because I have not heard from you in several years, and found this....your obituary. Have thought of you often! May you rest in peace!! You were such a good and valued friend to my mother, Kathy. We all appreciated and loved you. I am so sorry that time got away from us, and we were unable to see each other. WELL, SISTER DEAR, IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE YOU WENT TO A "BETTER PLACE". NO PAIN, ACHES AND NOW BEING WITH FAMILY/FRIENDS THAT HAVE "PASSED" EARLIER. I DO HAVE TO SAY, WHEN YOU LEFT, I FELT A PART OF ME WAS "GONE". HOWEVER, I KNOW THAT NOW YOU HAVE BEEN JOINED BY MY DEAREST FRIEND, JOANIE SHANNON, AFTER A 48+ FRIENDSHIP AND OUR COUSIN, GHERI ROBINSON. I AM SURE YOU HAVE MANY MEMORIES OF THE "MARY HARRIGAN" STORIES WHERE YOU ALL PLAYED "FEATURED" ROLES !! AS BOB HOPE WOULD SAY, "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES".
ALTHOUGH I DO NOT "SEE" YOU, I KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING OVER ME AND MANY TIMES, I AM IMPRESSED HOW "PATSY CARTER" I REACT TO SITUATIONS/PLANS/ETC THAT COME UP IN MY DAY TO DAY HAPPENINGS..... THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU AND I'LL SEE YOU AGAIN. I LOVE YOU.......

I WILL MISS MY SISTER, PATSY, VERY, VERY MUCH! ALTHOUGH WE ARE AS DIFFERENT AS "NIGHT AND DAY", SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ME WHEN I NEEDED HER (EVEN AS A CHILD AND NOW 1,000 MILES AWAY !!). SHE WAS KIND,LOVING AND GENEROUS. ALTHOUGH, EVERY NOW AND THEN,HER "IRISH" WOULD SURFACE AND SHE WOULD "CLEARLY" STATE HER "WISHES/WANTS/NEEDS". HOWEVER, SHE NEVER DID IT WITH MALICE OR TO HURT ANYONE.
SHE TRULY IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW - NO PAIN, ONLY THE GOOD LORD, BLESSED MOTHER, SAINTS, ANGELS, FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS. GOD REST YOUR SOUL, SISTER DEAR, AND SAY HI TO EVERYONE FOR ME. I LOVE YOU.....................
