Peter Alessio Obituary

Alessio - Peter, 70, of Nesconset, NY, passed away on March 13, 2023. Peter was a successful businessman in the culinary world. Peter loved the finer things in life and loved his family above all else. Peter was a proud father to Angelica

(John) and Matthew (Mary Claire); and a loving grandfather to Evangeline and Lilly. He was also the beloved son of the late Louis and Angelina; and the caring brother to Mary, Angela and the late Crescenzo.

Peter Alessio was one of my VPs, and thanks to his advice and mentoring I became the manager that I´m today. Every time he sent me to do an assignment he used to said to me "you can do it Luis, I trust you..." and thanks to that trust I went this far in the company. RIP Peter you will be remember and my gratitude for everything you did.

Peter hired me as his assistant in 1989. He taught me about the corporate dining sector and introduced me to a whole new side of the hospitality business. My husband Ed also worked with him early in his career. He was very patient with me and took the time to answer all of my questions. I remember when I moved into the sales role I was so excited to have secured an appointment with a client and he accompanied me in a blizzard only to discover that they had a couple of vending machines and a break room. Needless to say that never happened again but he took it in stride and was supportive. His work ethic was second to none. So many memories! Please accept our deepest condolences. Donna & Ed Wang

There are no words that express our loss of Peter and my closest friend from childhood. We were inseparable as young friends and went on to CIA together. It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to my dear friend and colleague. Peter was an incredible person who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the good fortune to know and work alongside them.

His unwavering dedication to their work and their natural ability to inspire and motivate others was admirable. Peter possessed a unique combination of professionalism, kindness, and a sense of humor that brightened the office and made even the most challenging days more manageable.

One of the many qualities that set Peter apart was his genuine compassion and empathy for others. He always made time to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear, which fostered a sense of camaraderie among our team.

As we mourn the loss of Peter, we also celebrate his life and the countless ways they enriched our lives. His memory will live on in the lessons they taught us, the laughter we shared, and the lasting friendships he forged.
