Peter B. Fanning

Fanning - Peter B. It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on November 1, 2021. Peter was born in Manchester, England, on October 2, 1959. He moved with his family to Westbury, New York, in 1974 and graduated from Westbury High School in 1977. He later joined the Navy in 1982 and served for 14 years to 1996. He was proud to have sailed around the world three times and crossed the equator twice on the USS Nimitz, USS Kitty Hawk and USS Saipan. Once retired from Navy, Peter moved to Florida. Peter was predeceased by his wife, Suzanne who he cared for through illness for several years and his father, Bernard Fanning. He is survived by his two children, Colin Fanning (Caitlin) and Nicole Fanning (Lindsey Pflugner); and his three granddaughters, Claire, Camille, Colette; as well as his mother, Pauline Fanning; and 3 siblings, Anthony (Susan), Ian (Tina) and Jane (Vinny Fatato) and many nieces and nephews.
