Peter Jerichow Rose

Rose - Peter Jerichow, of Sea Cliff, NY, on November 10, 2024. Born in Gram, Denmark in 1937, Peter came to the United States as an infant with his mother. He attended kindergarten at Sea Cliff School where he first met his future wife, Nancy Hamilton. They married in 1956. Pete is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; and their wonderful daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Rose Daly (Brian). Peter was predeceased by his parents, Aino and Bill; and his brother, George. Pete was a mechanical genius with a great imagination and spent his career in the graphic arts industry working at Chemco, Newsday, and the Town of Oyster Bay. He traveled to every major newspaper in the country. Nancy and Pete bought a summer home in Bovina, NY, where they spent six months every year making it perfect. After selling their Bovina home, they spent their remaining years in Sea Cliff. Pete was blessed to have kind, caring, and wonderful health aids 24/7 who gave him excellent care along with Liz and Nancy. Arrangements by Whitting Funeral Home are private.
