It brings me great comfort knowing the legacy that my Grandfather leaves behind whether it was in wrestling in Valley Stream Central and Indiana University, coaching, or just being a caring, loving person. My Grandfather was and always will be a "legend", and everybody knows that legends can never actually die.

To Coach Zboray´s family, which is the name I respectfully called him. I knew Coach for only a short time but his impression on me has lasted a lifetime. Coach came to CW Post to coach our rag tag team during my senior year. Coach was always positive, had funny stories, and we all learned from each other as he had previously coached high school teams. I took my highest NCAA place, 3rd under Coach Zboray. He was a great person, and fun to know. I´m sincerely saddened to hear of his passing. I hope his son Rich who I knew, and your entire family find comfort in the great memories I´m sure you all have with him. God bless Coach Zboray.

My Grandpa was truly the most generous, kindhearted, and sweetest person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. The only thing I could ever ask for is more time with him. I hope someday that I am at least half the person he was. I will miss you and think about you everyday for the rest of my life. I love you always. BFF-Annie

I´m very sorry to learn of the loss of such a great man. Mr. Zboray was a great leader, teacher and coach. Most of all he was a friend to us all. He listened and cared for students throughout the school, not just those on the sports teams. He reached out to me with quiet words of wisdom and encouragement during some hard times. I will never forget his unconditional compassion and his life lessons. His legacy lives on in us all. May God Rest His Soul. He will be dearly missed. (VS Central class of 1984)

I loved your dad´s happy disposition at Central. He always looked like he loved his job so much. So I guess he can almost say he never worked a day in his life but he did change the lives of so many students over the years. Told me I was the best driver in his driving class, always with kind words he would make you a better student and person. He showed that by example. We were class of 78 and were invited back to your home pool with the football team and we cheerleaders. Made us all feel so special. I am sending prayers and condolences to the family. He will be missed but never forgotten.
