Robert Schebe Obituary

SCHEBE - Robert E., of West Islip, LI, on November 30, 2008. Beloved husband of June Schebe. Devoted father of Beverly (Chris) Maturro, Barbara Barrett, Nancy Schebe and Norman (Maryann) Schebe. Cherished grandfather of Kevin Barrett. Dear brother of Harold Schebe and Ruth Vetter. Robert was the former owner of Henry Roessle & Son in Hicksville, LI and was a Naval Air Cadet during World War II with the U.S. Navy. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile West of the Robert Moses Cswy.). A funeral service will be held Thursday 12:00pm at the funeral home. Cremation to follow. Visiting Wednesday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 245 Old Country Rd., Melville, NY 11747.
