BOGGAN - Sally Bookhardt, 56 years at the same residence in Merrick. Born 5/15/33, Daughter of Hoyt and Mary Bookhardt of Orangeburg, S.C., died 1/23/21 of a stroke. Loving wife of Joseph R. "Tim" Boggan, loving mother to Christopher Scott and Eric Alexander. Loving Grandmother to Taylor and Zak. Loving Sister to Mary Grace, Hoyt Jr., and Frank. B.A. in Education, Magna Cum Laude ("Who's Who" Among American Students): Columbia College, Columbia, S.C.; M.A. Education: George Peabody College for Teachers, Nashville, TN. Music Teacher, Falls Church, VA & Great Neck, N.Y. School Systems, L.I. Substitute Teachers Assoc., Bellmore/Merrick. 30-year member: Long Island Choral Society; Merrick Chorale. Longtime Women's Activist: NOW: N.Y. State Secretary/NOW: Nassau. L.I. Chapter Vice-President/Recording Secretary. DAR: N.Y. State district X/XI Director; Local Chapter Regent. She will be loved and missed by her family and friends.
