It is with great sorrow to hear that Tom Bluni, a colleague and a friend has passed away. I worked for 33 years along with Tom teaching at JFK High School in Bellmore. He was a superb teacher, and held in the highest regard by the administration, the staff, and most of all, he was revered by his students. Tom was the kind of teacher many of us aspired to be, and many times when former students would list their favorite teachers, his name was often at the top of the list. His memory will live on through his students and his success reflected by them.
