After her, Laurie and my older sister Athen´s eight grade graduation we all went out to dinner and it was so much fun! She also encouraged me while running in the Highschool cool down with the high school track team last year when I was in eighth grade and stayed back and ran it with me she is the best! She is the kindest and sweetest person I know! I will miss you Val! Love you!

During our freshman year together, Valerie and I went on a school trip to compete in choir at six flags. At the time I felt as though I didn't have anybody to enjoy the trip with. Oh boy was I wrong. As soon as I stepped off of that bus Valerie waved me over and asked if I wanted to sit next to her on the Jersey Devil. She held my hand the entire time. She was the kindest and most thoughtful person I ever knew. It was impossible to dislike her. She even went as far as to buy us matching six flags t-shirts and friendship bracelets. Always such a generous person. I will always love Valerie for her bright smile and beautiful soul. May she rest in peace.
