DEVINE - Wallace Henry Sr., age 86, on December 12, 2013. Husband to the late Catherine Zieler. Beloved father of Patricia Algerio (Albert), the late Wallace Devine Jr. (Colleen), and the late John Devine (Judy). Loving grandfather of Melissa McGilvery (Devin), Christine, Laura (Steven Rocco), Brett, Daniel, Patrick and great grandfather to Garrett Dominick Rocco. Cherished brother of Gertrude O'Leary, Rita Devine, Audrea Sloat, Raymond Devine. Dear uncle to Sharon Alfonsin (George), Richard Sloat. Son of the late Loretta Quigley and the late Albert Devine. He was a merchant marine of WWII, assistant chief of Flanders Fire Department and fireman at Huntington Manor Fire Department. He worked for Republic Aviation as a mechanic then a foreman at Fairchild, worked for Walt Whitman High School then retired in 1995.
