Sorry to hear this - Coach John - played for him for three years- the ever first Sonderling JV team (undefeated) in 1972 and two years of Varsity on the first ever Sonderling teams after they split Brentwood
Great guy - great coach his teaching got me through college sports!!! Rest in peace

Bill John was a smart man, a good football/wrestling coach and a great mentor. Twice he took the time, when visiting SC, to look me up and took me lunch.
I´ll never forget his comment in my yearbook, "Don´t forget to develop your brain."
Rest easy Mr. John.
