Charles William 'Bill' Nolty, age 90, of Connersville, Indiana and formerly of Metamora, died Friday, November 28, 2025 at Heritage House of Connersville following a brief illness.
Born June 2, 1935 in Grayson, Kentucky he was the son of the late William & Iselma (Cummins) Nolty. On April 23, 1958 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Dehner, and she survives. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served from 1958 – 1960.
He was retired, having worked for many years in a factory, and had also worked in construction. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and painting.
Besides Mary, his loving wife of over 67 years, survivors include four children, Marilyn Bachman of Centerville, Ohio, William (Debi) Nolty of Smithville, Texas, Peggy (Dean) Nolty-Rogers of Tucson, Arizona, Rhonda Day of Connersville, Indiana; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as one sister, Mildred Studt of Blooming Grove, Indiana
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Hornsby.
There will be no public services. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
