Claire Rubash Parrott

1925 - 2020

Claire Rubash Parrott, 95, passed away peacefully at home on June 5th, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 26, 1925 in Panama City, daughter of Joe and Mary Jane Woodward Rubash of St. Andrew. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Joe Parrott. She attended St. Andrew Elementary School and Bay High School, and was hired by the US Post Office where she worked for 38 years. She was a life-long member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church.

Following her retirement, she became active in community projects, and joined the Crape Myrtle Circle of the Panama City Garden Club, Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century, the Red Hat Society, and a line dancing group which entertained at nursing and retirement facilities. She loved traveling, either with friends or family, for many years.

Friends will be received at twelve noon, Friday, June 12th, followed by the funeral, which will be at one o'clock at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
