Michael Roberts Obituary
Mr. Michael L. Roberts, 55, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
He had lived in the area since 1992, after relocating from Springfield, Ohio. He loved fishing, Notre Dame football and NASCAR. He worked for Bay District Schools and was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Roberts of Panama City Beach; two sons, Michael Lee Roberts Jr. and wife, Carol, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Thomas Joseph Roberts of Atlanta; father and mother, Buddy and Mary Roberts of Springfield, Ohio; sister, Kim Sue Kennedy and husband, Tim, of Cincinnati; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at St. Dominic's Catholic Church with Father Peter Zalewski officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
