Rosie McFall Obituary
Rosie was a radiant, giving Christian and a loving example to her family, church, and many friends. She was born on April 14, 1930 to Henry Sr. and Cora Newsom Taylor in Millville, Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Clare J. (Mac) McFall; two sons and their wives Vance Carrick & Pat Brown Rutherford and Skipper C (Skip) and Brenda McClellan Rutherford; her daughter Robbie Rutherford Mattson, her step-son and his wife, Michael McFall and Liz, her grandchildren, the Rutherford and their wives: Troy and Stacy, Scot and Jodi, Vance and Michelle, Chad and Tabitha, Chris and Sonny; and David (Matt) Mattson, Natalie and Justin Olson, and Kristin McFall; great grandchildren Michael, Corey (Nikki), Trent, Hope, Fox, Zoey, Keyan, Layton, Grayson, Colin, Elijah, Lillian (Lily) Rutherford; and great-great grandchildren Trinity and Logan Rutherford. Rosie has four living brothers and their wives, Henry (Junior) Taylor and Jeanette, Alvin and MaryAnn, Raymond and deceased wife Sharon, and Ronnie Taylor. Rosie had four sisters and their husbands Luverne (and deceased husband Glen) Gibbs, Peggy and Robert Jernigan, and Emma Jean and Ralph Newsom, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Allen Wayne (Buddy) and Rickey Lamar Taylor, her youngest son Terry Lee Rutherford, and a great-granddaughter Melody, daughter of Vance and Michelle.
Rosie was an amazing mother, wife, and a servant in the church in areas of volunteer missions, kitchen ministry, Sunday School teacher, women's ministries and so many others volunteer positions. She was an amazing seamstress for many years after she moved back to Panama City from being an Air Force wife. She had a wonderful family of faith in the church.
We, her family, are so blessed to call her, Sister, Mama, Grandma and Aunt Rosie.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 19, 2013 and the Celebration service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on July 19, 2013 at Southerland Funeral Home 100 East 19th St., Panama City, FL. 32405. Burial will take place at Kent Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Seven years later and we still miss you so much, Mom. I was so honored to be you daughter-in-love. Your sweetness and love is a legacy in the family you raised. We are all blessed today because of your faith and prayers.

Thank you all for writing your precious thoughts. We, her family, appreciate your kind memories and prayers for our family. she was our beautiful example of love, forgiveness, strength, gentleness and God's grace present with us every day. We will miss her graciousness and joy. Her little smile and quiet giggle is in our hearts and minds. But we know she just beat us to heaven and we will see her again one day. It hit Mac hard, he loved her with all his heart but he is a wonderful and strong man. I will tell him you are praying for him too. God richly bless y'all.

I was so saddened to hear of Sis. Rosie's passing! She was such a sweet lady and always had a smile on her face. We rejoice in knowing she's made it to heaven and has a new body! My thoughts and prayers are with Bro. Mac and the family.
