Stephen Shipley Obituary
He was born Oct. 3, 1949, in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of Alvin and Virginia Shipley.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia L. Shipley of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; three brothers and a sister and their spouses, Rodney and Susan Shipley of Hockley, Texas, Paul and Terry Shipley of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jeffrey and Flinta Shipley of Magnolia, Texas and Denise and David McDowell of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, nieces and nephews Nathan Shipley and Emily Shipley, Scott Shipley of Grand Prairie, Texas, Maxwell Shipley of Greensboro, NC, Trevin Wagner and Allison McDowell of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Alvin Shipley and his infant son Timothy.
The family would like to express our greatest appreciation and thanks to the wonderful caregivers at the Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans Home, and Covenant Hospice, in Panama City.
Heritage Gardens Funeral Home Niceville, Fla. is assisting the family. Funeral Services and internment with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Aug. 24 at the Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
