MOUNT CARMEL - Carol A. Jurasich, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

She was born Feb. 4, 1947, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Moratelli) Reed. She was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School.

On August 19, 1967, in the former St. Joseph's Church, Mount Carmel, she married James D. Jurasich, who preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 2008.

Prior to her retirement, Carol had been employed for many years as a beautician.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She enjoyed holidays and decorating her home.

Most of all, she cherished the time with her children and grandchildren.

Carol is survived by two sons, Jimmy Jurasich and his wife, Ellie, of Mount Carmel, and Jeff Jurasich and his wife, Tanya, of Mount Carmel; three grandchildren, Jenna, Carly and Justin Jurasich; and three step-grandchildren, Amber, Samantha and Nicholas Miscavage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Albert J. Reed, on July 16, 2002.

JURASICH - Carol Jurasich, 74, of Mount Carmel. Religious services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III, supervisor. The Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, pastor, will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Carol was a wonderful mom and mammam. She loved her family and taking care of them. She will be tremendously missed but her love lives on in her boys and grandchildren.
