CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. - John Frederick Steinhart, 69, Citrus Heights, California, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2021.
He was born in Shamokin, June 7, 1952, a son of the late John and Virginia (Snyder) Steinhart.
Fred graduated from Bloomsburg University.
Fred worked as a purchasing agent in Cupertino, California, for many years. While there, he enjoyed outdoor sports such as sailing, golfing, tennis and swimming.
He loved to send cards to his family members and loved ones. Unexpected cards from Fred would always bring his loved ones a smile and sometimes a laugh. Fred, and his cards, will be deeply missed.
Fred is survived by siblings, Barbara (Craig) Hornberger, Margaret (Mike) Chapel, Richard (David) and Ruth (Daniel) Skonecki; his ex-wife, Sue Steinhart, and her family; 12 nieces and nephews; 18 great nephews; and many friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David.
Arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.
