Lorraine Rhoads Obituary
MOUNT CARMEL - Lorraine E. Rhoads, 99, of Mount Carmel, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Lorraine was born in Lavelle, Feb. 2, 1922, a daughter of the late William and Minnie (Runge) Marlow.
She graduated from Mount Carmel High School, Class of 1941.
She worked for many years at the General Cigar Co., Mount Carmel, until her retirement.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Rhoads and his wife, Cheryl, of Eustis, Florida, and Robin Rhoads and his wife, April, Mount Carmel; and two brothers, Delbert and Carl Marlow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Rhoads, in 2007; two brothers, Robert and Leon; and two sisters, Sarah Yeager and Martha Horbach.
RHOADS - Lorraine E. Rhoads, 99, of Mount Carmel. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Rothermel-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Mount Carmel, Ashley D'Andrea, supervisor, and Charles Heizenroth III, funeral director, are in charge of arrangements.
