ELYSBURG - Louella M. Knoebel, 92, of Elysburg, passed away Saturday morning, July 22, 2023, at Vintage Knolls, in Danville.
She was born in Elysburg, Aug. 21, 1930, a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Schuler) Holman.
Louella worked as a stay-at-home mom and took care of her five children.
She was a member of Grace Chapel Church, Overlook.
Surviving are two sons, David Knoebel (Debbie), of North Carolina, and Daniel Knoebel (Denise), of Elysburg; three daughters, Bonnie Dubovic, of Matamoras, Patsy Ann Fletcher (Raymond), of Missouri, and Rebekah Woodruff (Myron), of Catawissa; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild.
In addition to Louella's parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Wayne Knoebel; a sister, Elizabeth Phillips; a brother, John Holman; and a grandson, Jason Woodruff.
KNOEBEL - Louella M. Knoebel, 92, of Elysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rothermel-Heizenroth and Clark Funeral Services Inc., 387 W. Valley Ave., Elysburg, with Chaplain Mike Miller officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at St. Peter's Church Cemetery (Blue Church), in Paxinos. Rothermel-Heizenroth and Clark Funeral Services Inc., 387 W.
