SHAMOKIN - Mark Edward Lowry, 35, of Shamokin, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at his residence.
He was born June 28, 1986, in Philadelphia, a son of Robert J. Lowry Sr., of Shamokin, and the late Theresa M. O'Gara.
He was a 2004 graduate of Shamokin Area High School.
Mark was a great person who was taken far too soon. He was very kind and would help anyone in need.
Mark lit up the room when he walked in. He had an amazing personality that could make anyone laugh.
Mark loved his family beyond measure, and is survived by his father, Robert J. Lowry Sr., of Shamokin; two brothers, Robert Lowry and his wife, Angela, of Shamokin, and Arcadio Duganitz, of Shamokin; three sisters, Dana O'Gara and her husband, Shawn Bellis, of Coal Township, Jennifer Lowry, of Shamokin, and Susan Saez, of Shamokin; two aunts and uncles, Mary and Mike Duganitz, of Shamokin, and Cindy and Ken O'Gara, of Philadelphia; two nieces, Abby and Sarah; six nephews, Dominic, Brandon, Adam, Rylan, Jared and Damien; and his faithful English Bulldog, Jameson.
LOWRY - Mark Edward Lowry, 35, of Shamokin. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Mark's life, from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the St. Francis Home Association, 615 Race St., Shamokin. The Stephen A. Chowka Funeral Home, 114 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
