WILMINGTON, Del. - Norman I. Suchomajcz passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Arden Court, in Wilmington, Delaware.
One of 12 siblings, he was born in Shamokin to the late Michael and Josephine Suchomajcz.
Norman was U. S. Army Korean War veteran.
He worked as a fabricator for Reynolds Metal. After his retirement, he was a security officer at Widener College.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars.
Norman is survived by his daughter, Carole Anne Suchomajcz (Steven Rachko); his brother, John Suchomaitys; his sister, Rita Patinski; his goddaughter, Cindy Zackacheski; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved friend, Gertrude Snuz.
He was preceded in death by his son, Norman F. Suchomajcz; six sisters, Frances Dorko, Helen Yucha, Mildred Lach, Stella Martin, Mary Sciecinski and Dorothy Suchomajcz, in infancy; and three brothers, Frank Mattis, Michael Sohomuch and Thomas Such.
SUCHOMAJCZ - Norman I. Suchomajcz, of Wilimington, Delaware. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, 120 S. Our condolences, love and prayers to Norm's entire family. Norm was a wonderful and caring person. We enjoyed his easy-going company, kind heart and sense of humor. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. We have so many happy memories of our time together both in Pennsylvania and Buffalo. God Bless, Gert and Family.
