Robert Shipe Obituary
COAL TOWNSHIP - Robert M. "Bob" Shipe, 60, of Coal Township, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at his residence. Bob was the beloved husband of Patty (Polyniak) Shipe, sharing more than 40 years of loving marriage.
He was born in Shamokin, July 14, 1964, a son of Jean (Schreffler) Shipe and the late Robert L. Shipe.
Bob worked as a truck driver for more than 32 years.
He was a member of Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church, in Shamokin. Bob was an avid fisher and hunter and loved taking camping trips to Gettysburg.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patty; his mother, Jean; sons, Robert J. Shipe and Andrew D. Shipe and his wife, Michelle Bossler; a grandson, Owen; sisters, Julie Foulds and Stacey James; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Michelle Yurick and Tom, the late Dan and Marilyn Polyniak, Jeff and Becky Polyniak, and Mike and Karen Polyniak; many nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Daisy.
SHIPE - Robert M. "Bob" Shipe, 60, of Coal Township. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, with Father Paul Spotts officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
