Age: 73 • Greenville
Arthur Mason Warren, 73, husband of Marcia Ann (Brinkley) Warren of 333 Kaolin Spring Lane passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Warren was born on November 2, 1943 in Clinton, North Carolina, a son of the late Mercus Roberson and Lillie Marie (Sessoms) Warren.
Arthur was retired in 2001 from American Safety Razor with 22 years of service as a Grinder Operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the outdoors, and "telling tall tales."
Surviving in addition to his wife of 40 years is a son, Samuel Warren and his wife Kathryn of Mount Crawford; a daughter, Becky Yoho and her husband Skip of Raphine; three brothers, Buddy Warren of Staunton, Johnny Warren of Kentucky, and Mikey Warren of Staunton; two sisters, Dixie Kelley of Deerfield and Wanda Madison of Lyndhurst; six grandchildren, Alexandra Warren, Caitlin Robertson, Dylan Wiseman, Shyanne Yoho, Dakotah Yoho and Junior Yoho also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Donald Cash.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Chuck Bird, Jason Warren, Larry Lawrence, Glenn Lawrence, Jr., Montana Madison, Johnny Warren, Jr., and Bo Riley.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, South Atlantic Division, 1445 East Rio Road, Suite 104, Charlottesville, Virginia 22901.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
