So many great memories of Gail and her family. I grew up with her daughter and spent many hours at their house and going on adventures with them. My condolences.

I met Gail and Larry (through their son Joseph) when I attended UAF in the late 80´s. What GOOD PEOPLE they are.

Gail and I were neighbors and close friends for many years. We went to many Bible studies together, and also, for years, to Fr. Loyen's classes. I taught piano to Joe and Suzanna, and felt close to both children. I have so many wonderful memories of Gail, and can hear her voice so clearly in my mind. Larry, Suzanna, and Joe, my heart is aching for your loss. I loved Gail. We talked and laughed and prayed together so many, many times. I trust we will meet again in what my pastor calls "The Larger Life." May God bless you and comfort you. I will surely be praying for you, and thanking God for Gail.

I loved that Gail always joined us for the Denali Quilters retreat in Fairbanks every January. She was such an inspiration and always encouraging. We shared a love of gardening though she was much better at it and generously shared her zucchini, for which I was always thankful. I am blessed to have known you, Gail. You are missed.

Aunt Gail always found something to be happy about. She lived life to the fullest, always deeply engaged in whatever she was doing. No rocking chair for her! Her big smile will remain in my heart forever.

Gail and I met online because we have the same blood disorder, and we met up at the conferences every two years in Scottsdale since the 1990s. We could always talk with deep honesty about what it took to live with our conditions and treatments. In 2013 my husband Martin and I took an anniversary trip to Alaska and spent a wonderful few days with Gail and Larry; we had way more in common than our disease-- general beliefs and values, and quilting for me, woodworking for Martin, etc. I remember taking the dog for a walk with strict instructions on expectations for heeling etc, what to not let her "get away with." (Gail knew I was not experienced with dogs). My background photo for my phone for years has been a picture of some of the flowers from her garden. I treasure the support and friendship we shared.

While I did not know Larry and Gail's family, I knew both Larry and Gail. My deepest condolences to Larry for having lost his loved one. Always remember her fondly.
