Jackie Rutledge Obituary
Jack was my gentle giant; he was loving, patient, smart and funny. All who knew him loved him.
Jack enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, visiting with his daughter and grandsons, barbecues and playing pool, darts, "Dungeons and Dragons" and Xbox, and singing karoake.
Last summer, Jack traveled to Tulsa to visit his son and meet his new family. He attended his son's wedding while visiting.
Jack was an MP in the Army when he was younger and was stationed in Germany.
Some of Jack's places of employment were Tesoro, on College Road; Greyhound Lounge, Baracuda's Beach Bar, Rock 'N' Rodeo and the Hideout Lounge.
Jack is survived by his mother, Martha Rutledge; his father, Jack Rutledge; brother, Judd Rutledge; sister-in-law, Dannie Rutledge; nieces and nephew, Zachariah, MaKinzi, Elisha and Savanna; daughter, Mickala Rutledge; grandsons, Remington and Colton; son, Jackie Leroy Rutledge, and daughter-in-law, Catherine, and their children, Ariana, Jon, Sophia and Piper; his girlfriend of nine years, Debra K. Smith, and her daughter, Nicole Smith.
Celebration of Jack's life will be held June 17. Todd and Jheri Rhodes will host.

You are greatly missed, Jack. You always had a smile and kind words for anyone who crossed your path. You were taken from this earth too early. Your laughter and peaceful manner will always be remembered and cherished. My deepest sympathy goes out to Deb, Nicole and the Rutledge family. My heart is with you all.

My condelences to the Rutledge family. I never met Jackie, but worked with Jack and Judd on the Valdez oil spill. The family may be distance relatives of my husband, Albert Hines, who was from Oklahoma.
