Dear Marian & Fiona,
We were so saddened to learn of Jon's passing. What a great guy and wonderful neighbor he was. We are thinking of your family and holding you both close in our hearts and in our prayers.

I did not know Jon real well but knew him well enough to feel confident that each time I or my family needed the services of FMH that Jon's abilities helped keep that facility in top-notch condition. He will be missed by our community.

In memory of a very special man who touched so many hearts. I had the good fortune to work with Jon for many years through the many performances of North Star Ballets The Nutcracker and Spring Gala. He lead the performers, young and old, stagehands and front of the house with prescission and humor. Jon will be greatly missed.

Kind, gracious, thoughtful, honest, generous, dependable, patient, funny and thorough .... these are just a few of the qualities that I always saw in Jon. I met Jon within days of moving to Alaska in 1971 as a young 15 yr old - my family was house hunting and we were considering the house next door to their Riverfront home. He came over the yard to warmly welcome us to Alaska. Jon's genuine desire to graciously welcome us touched me and who knew that chance meeting was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. When Jon met my roommate Marian, our lives were forever entwined. My love to you Marian, you're closer to my heart than ever. I cherish you so very much. Jon will never be forgotten, ever. He left big footprints.
