Kylene Dye Obituary

Kylene Napoleon Dye "Nauyugaq", 34, of North Pole, died unexpectedly, Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital after a brief one-week illness.
Kylene was born on June 23, 1987, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Henry L. Napoleon and Rose Beth Akitalinok Napoleon. Kylene was the second youngest of six children. She grew up in both Chevak and Anchorage. Early in her life she endured many hardships, much pain, and suffering. At a young age she became a mother, and nothing made her happier than being a mother. Then she met the absolute love of her life, her soul mate, Jared Kyle Dye. They wed on May 5, 2012, in Anchorage and shortly after they moved to the interior of Alaska. Kylene helped her husband and many families in their time of need at Legacy Funeral Homes.
Kylene enjoyed beadwork, berry picking, dip-netting, egg hunting, leather sewing and most of all being a mother caring for her family. She was proud of her Alaska Native heritage and considered herself CUPIK, pronounced choo-pik.
Kylene is survived by her loving husband, Jared K. Dye; children; Jaesee (Chase) Geddes, Kannen Dye, Rushton Dye, Katie Ann Mann, John Francis "Cupa" Scott, Krysten Desiree Napoleon, Jared Kyle Dye II, and Qaayah Jonelia Dye; father, Henry L. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jonelia Napoleon; and brother, Christian Napoleon.
