Lisa Sailor Obituary

Lisa Marie Sailor, 53, of North Pole, passed unexpectedly on June 18, 2022, in her home.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Carol Sailor; her children, Brandon McGillis, Briana Anderson and Benjamin Marth, as well as her granddaughter, Luna Anderson; her longtime partner, Matt Galvin, and his daughters, Alexandra Bilbrey and Megan Galvin; and her brother, David Sailor, and his children, Ashlee and Jakob Sailor.

Lisa was born on Nov. 22, 1968, in Seattle, Washington, to Carol and Dave Sailor. She moved to Fairbanks in 1981 with her parents. After high school, she drove a truck and started her family at the age of 23. Later in life, she found her soul mate, Matt Galvin. In their many years together, they were very happy and never had an argument.

Fishing was her passion, and she also enjoyed crafts and loved the animals in her life. Lisa was the kindest person and was empathetic to everyone.

A memorial was held Saturday, June 25, 2022, for family and friends at her mother's home in North Pole.

In lieu of flowers, please catch a fish and pass a smile to a stranger.

All though I haven't seen Lisa in Many years, I'd like to say she was one of the kindest people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Funny, Caring, Ever Loving, I didn't know of her passing and am sad I didn't get to come to her memorial. I could tell you some funny stories about her and I's antics and many good times. You will definitely be missed by so many Lisa, gone way too soon.
Heaven truly got an Angel.
